A Sequin For A Stranger

I helped a stranger today when she was afraid she did not have enough money to pay for something at a store we were both at. I offered to pay what she was missing but she came up with the money. I could tell it really touched her I offered. I wasn’t thinking of the assignment when I offered. The opportunity just came to me as a “gift” to myself and it turned a humdrum day into a beautiful day. It reminded me that acts of kindness can be small actions but they turn into something “big” when they are truly heartfelt.
