Preschool Children & Sequins

A preschool teacher in Queens, NY contacted me to give me an update on how she’s including the Sequin Of Kindness with her 3 year old students.

Whenever they do something kind, they get to put a sequin on a chart that’s in their classroom.  The child goes home with a note saying “I got a sequin” for the parents to read. The teacher is including an article in her monthly newsletter explaining what the SOK is about.

They also have given Sequin Of Kindness wristbands to the parents.  Wristbands are free for teachers using the program in their classroom.  Usually the wristband goes to the student once they have passed in a story; however, in this case the kids are too small to wear the wristbands. Feel free to contact me for more information.
