WHAT AND WHEN: From now until September 4th, Do the KIND Thing is challenging people to go out of their way to make someone feel special – this could be calling a loved one or sending someone a card or email to let them know you are thinking about them. If enough people visit KINDmovement.com and pledge to carry out this act by 9/4, then KIND will work with local Boston non-profit organization, Birthday Wishes, to provide birthday parties to hundreds of children in need.
WHERE: The KIND Food Truck will be parked at Boston University on Tuesday, September 4th (from 11 AM to 1:30 PM at 700 Commonwealth Avenue) inviting local residents to come out to take the pledge and fill out handmade birthday cards for the children.
WHY: A need important to the local community since in Massachusetts alone, more than 20,000 children are homeless.
KIND Snacks is consistently kind! Please remember that passing a Sequin of Kindness (a small act of kindness) does make a difference. Barb ~ @mamakindness
